Balance of peace

One of the most common concept in Hindu mythology you'll come across is about war between 'Deva' (Deity) & 'Asura' (Demon). Deva is associated with Truth , righteousness & peace whereas Asura represents completely opposite side. Interestingly there is a common father of both the group , Rishi Kashyap. Wife of him , Aditi gave birth to Deva & Diti gave birth to Asura.
Questions arises that though they are brothers in relation , so why there is always war amongst them? Why there are disputes ? What our great ancestors want to convey through these stories?
Answer is about the inconsistency of peace in the world. All the human being belongs to the same origin but still there is dispute , tension & war. These has been continuously going on since the ancient civilizations​ & it'll continue in future too. No civilization lasted forever.
There is not only the description of negativity & destruction in our mythology but there are also accounts of positivity & development. "Samudhra-Manthan" (Churning of the ocean) is a great example of it where Deva - Asura comes together for mutual benefit & their common efforts get them all the propsperous entities.
These stories concludes that the Deva - Asura resides within us only. You will always listen two different suggestions from your mind whenever you are wondering about any topic.It's all upto us to choose a side.
But ultimately the one which has originated will also have to face destruction and has to be recreated again. KS
